Wokai Blog: Monthly Contribution Plan, latest feature on wokai.org: Wokai China Microfinance Blog

I've added a new feature to the website this week specifically for regular Wokai contributors. Under "My Wokai", you'll now find a section called "Contribution Plan" that will allow you to define a regular contribution to run automatically.

Signing up is easy. Just select the amount you'd like to contribute to Wokai loans or operations (or a little of both) and select the frequency (monthly or quarterly). Then enter your credit card payment details and click the "Purchase" button. That's it! On the schedule you requested, we will bill your credit card and automatically match your contribution to loans needing funding. At any time you can login to your account and check up on the progress of loans that have been funded. Canceling your contribution plan is also just a one-click process.

Many charities solicit for regular donations but provide so little in return. With Wokai, the loans that are funded with your money are permanently linked to your account so you can see the real impact your contributions have made! When a loan is paid off by the borrower, you can redistribute the funds to a new borrower of your choosing.
