Happily Enjoying the Chinese New Year --
After a hectic year, everything feels great. Since my husband is working in Baiqi, in order to have a family reunion during Chinese New Year, my son and I travelled to my husband's place on Dec 26 2011. We had a fabulous re-union. Currently our family is back into our normal routine, working hard, and preparing for the challenges coming in the year.

This year our income is better than last year. I am pretty happy. --
This year’s corn harvest was very good. We made more money than last year, which made my husband and me pretty happy. We used a part of our income to improve our standard of living. We saved the other part for next lunar year because this year it starts early and spring will begin in just a couple of months.

My husband and I are busy at home doing odd jobs --
My family took out a loan to purchase grass fodder for breeding livestock. This has remedied the grass fodder shortage. Right now, the busy season for farming has passed, and my husband and I are busy at home doing odd jobs.
