The last few days my husband has started manual work away from the village --
It's not been long since finishing the autumn harvest. The money earned from this year's crops was better than last year. To make some more money, my husband has, over the last few days, started manual work away from the village. In this way the pressures of sending our two children to school or repaying the loan is reduced.

My husband and I will buy a couple thousand catty of fodder ASAP --
Our loan from 2010 will be repaid in March 2011. This year, with the help of the micro-loan, our cattle project has turned a significant profit. This year (2010) was a drought year, and the plants didn't provide much income. My husband and I are going to buy a couple catty of cattle fodder, so the animals will be able to get through the winter without worry.

Due to the droughts the grass on the fields hasn't grown very well --
This year we planted the forage ourselves, however because of the drought the grass on the pasture has not been growing very well. Because of this we had to spend more money to purchase fodder. At the moment my husband is doing day-labor at a construction site nearby while I take the cows out to pasture each day. My son is still studying in the county capital. My mother-in-law has been helping me with chores at home even though she's lost much of her eyesight.
